MARKET ENTRY, INC. founded in 1982, is a strategic marketing and sales consulting firm. We specialize in launching or repositioning products, services and companies. In simple terms, clients use our expertise to help their organizations focus, brand and grow.

The company’s president, Katherine Kish brought her corporate strategic planning, marketing and sales experience to the firm. Prior to founding Market Entry, she held management and executive positions in Fortune 500 companies such as Singer, Harcourt Brace and NBC. Today, building on Market Entry’s thirty year history, staff and associates add a breadth of sector experience from technology to service, retailing to manufacturing to non-profit.

Katherine Kish

 

Katherine Kish is the founder of Market Entry, Inc., a strategic marketing and business development firm. Her previous experience was in corporate marketing, sales and strategic planning in Fortune 500 broadcasting, publishing and information service firms (NBC, Harcourt, and Singer). Market Entry works in the B2B as well as non-profit sectors providing strategic planning, marketing and sales, public relations, business development and meeting facilitation. 


Kish also serves as Executive Director of Einstein’s Alley, NJ’s “Silicon Valley”, an economic development initiative for Central New Jersey.


She was selected a fellow of the Leadership New Jersey Class of 2003 and participates in and has been recognized for a wide range of business of community activities. She has been actively involved in the Princeton Regional Chamber of Commerce (PRCC) for over two decades, serving as chairman of the board in 2000. She has served as Vice Chair of the Board and is currently on the Executive Committee of the American Conference on Diversity Board. She serves as a member of the Steering Committee for Princeton Future and Creative New Jersey, is a Board Member of the New Jersey Entrepreneurial Network and the Mid Jersey Chamber Foundation, and is Vice Chair of the Nakashima Foundation for Peace. She has served as co-chair of the scholarship committee for the former Delaware Raritan Girl Scout Council and as member of the Women’s Leadership Council of the Liberty Science Center.


 

Kish has been vice president of the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO), vice president of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), and a member of the board of directors of the National Foundation for Women Business Owners. She is a co-founder of the NJAWBO/EXCEL (now WBC) initiative, a statewide entrepreneurial training program that has provided entrepreneurial skills training to thousands of women and minorities since 1992.


She has been honored as a Woman of Distinction-World Citizen by the Girl Scouts; as Humanitarian of the Year by the American Conference on Diversity, Princeton Capital Chapter; as Woman Business Owner of the Year by NJAWBO, Mercer County and with the NJAWBO Teal Heart Award; at the Princeton YWCA Tribute to Women in Business and Industry; and by NJBiz as one of the Top 50 Business Women in

 New Jersey.


She holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Allegheny College and a master’s degree from Antioch University, with additional graduate work at Williams College and the East West Center at the 

University of Hawaii.
